Conversations, reflections, insights, notices, rituals, letters, stories and memory summaries in Find North are generated by large language models. There is no human reading your writing and replying to you.

North has a consistent character and set of principles, but it is not a person, and it should never be mistaken for one.

It is not care, advice or crisis support

Find North is not therapy, counselling, medical care, diagnosis, treatment, legal advice, tax advice or financial advice. Nothing North says is a professional opinion, and it should not replace one.

If you are in crisis or at risk of harming yourself or someone else, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis line in your country right now. Reaching for real help is the strongest thing you can do.

It can be wrong

• AI can misread tone, invent detail, or state something confidently that isn't true.
• Patterns North names are observations offered tentatively, not findings. You are the authority on your own life.
• Please use your own judgement before acting on anything North suggests, especially about your health, relationships, money or legal situation.

How your writing is used

• To generate a response, the relevant text is sent to an AI provider that processes it and returns the result.
• Your writing is not used to train third-party foundation models.
• Deep Memory — North remembering things across months and years — only happens if you give permission, and you can withdraw it at any time in Settings.

What you're responsible for

• What you write and upload, including having the rights to it.
• How you choose to use what North gives you.
• Not using North to generate unlawful, harassing or deceptive content, or to attempt to bypass its principles.

In North Together, North can hold space for a guided conversation. It sees only what has been shared with that circle — never anyone's private writing.
